Select the Magnetic Lasso tool .
The border of the magnetic lasso snaps to the edges of a selection. (You may want to use a different selection tool depending on the shape of the object you want to select.)

Select the desired tool options in the options bar.
Feather creates a soft-edged selection. Anti-alias smooths the jagged edges of a selection.
Width specifies detection width of the lasso, Edge Contrast specifies the lasso's sensitivity to edges, and Frequency specifies the rate at which the lasso sets fastening points.

Click in the image to set the first fastening point as an anchor. Then, move the pointer along the edge you want to trace and drag back over the starting point and click to close the border. |

Choose File > Open, and open an image you want to use as your destination image. |

Click on the source image to make it your active window. |

Select the Move Tool icon . |

Drag the source selection into the destination image. |

Choose Image > Transform > Free Transform. |

Resize, rotate and move the image as needed.
To resize the selection, position the pointer over a handle - the pointer turns into a double arrow - and drag.
To rotate the selection, position the pointer just outside the border - the pointer turns into a curved, two-sided arrow - and drag.
To move the selection, click the image and drag to the desired position.

Click on the OK button in the options bar to commit the transformation. |

In the Layers palette, enter a value in the Opacity text box, or drag the Opacity pop-up slider to change the opacity of the selection. |
